Dalma Kurian is an Indian film actress and model. She primarily works in south film industry. She mainly appears in Malayalam and Tamil films. After acting in female supporting character roles in 2 Malayalam movies she starred in Tamil language movies. She acted in two Tamil movies before playing lead female roles and rose to fame in Malayalam film industry. Her performance as Sethulakshmi in Malayalam movie named Bodyguard which was released in 2010 acclaimed her critically. Then she went on to reprise the character in Bodyguard in its Tamil remake named Kaavalan. Her other notable character was in a Malayalam movie named Rama Ravanan starring famous Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi. She is related to famous South Indian actress named Nayanthara. She first acted in a supporting character role in Malayalam movie named Vismayathumbathu which was released in 2004. In this film she appeared in a single scene as Nayanthara's friend. The film was directed by famous malayalam film industry director named Fazil. She then acted in another malayalam movie named Mayookham which was released in 2005. This movie was directed by one of top class directors of malayalam film industry named T. Hariharan. After that she took a break from acting and concentrated on her studies.
