Meera Nandan (born Meera Nandakumar on 26 November 1990) is an Indian film actress and a television anchor.She did her schooling in Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara, near Elamakkara temple. She is currently studying at Presidency College.She started her career in 2007 by co-hosting the popular reality-based singing competition Idea Star Singer on Asianet Television with Ranjini Haridas. She made her film debut in Malayalam cinema the following year, playing the female lead in Mulla.Meera Nandan is the daughter of Nandakumar and Maya. The girl attracted a lot of people with her simple malayalee looks and outfits. She is the simple girl next door. After her main role in the movie Mulla in 2008, Meera Nandan got chance in a variety of mallu movies like Currency, Puthiya Mukham, Kerala Cafe, Patham Nilayile Theevandi, Pulliman, Elsamma Enna Aankutty, Oridathoru Postman etc.In 2011, she acted in the block buster movie Seniors. She also had roles in Shankaranum Mohananum, Ven Shankhu Pol and Swapna Sanchari, Padmasree Bharat Dr. Saroj Kumar. Her 2012 movies Mallu Singh and Yathra Thudarunnu are now being filmed. Meera Nandan really is a typical example of a Kerala beauty and we are looking forward to see her in various roles in the mallu movies to come.
