Initially he was of Portuguese descent, but in later interviews she stated that she is "half Punjabi" while in her newest interviews she claims that her father is half-Indian with her paternal grandmother being Portuguese and her paternal grandfather being a Punjabi Rajput.Kaur worked as a model since she was 14 and continued to do so while studying law at Universidade Cândido Mendes before quitting to work as full-time model when receiving an offer in India.
