Gauri Khan is a film producer and interior designer. She is the co-founder of the film production house and distribution company called Red Chillies Entertainment with her husband renowned Bollywood actor named Shahrukh Khan. Gauri Khan was born in New Delhi on India. She grew up in Rajinder Nagar which was a suburb. She did her schooling at Loreto Convent school and she was graduated from LSR, Lady Sriram in New Delhi. She holds a bachelors degree in history. She met Shahrukh Khan in 1984 and she married him in 1991 prior to his successful Bollywood career. In 2002 together with Shahrukh Khan she founded the motion picture production and distribution company named Red Chillies Entertainment where she serves as the primary producer. She became a producer of famous Hindi director named Farah Khan's directorial debut movie named Main Hoon Na which launched her career as a producer in Hindi (Bollywood) film industry. The film did well at the box office. The film has become the second highest grossing film of the year. Since then she has produced seven films for the company including some of the projects in which her husband is the star actor. She also made a guest appearance in Hindi movie named Om Shanti Om which was released in 2007.
