She was born in Konni in Pathanamthitta district, Kerala.She did her schooling  in Mount Bethany EHSS in Mylapra in Pathanamthitta. She studied in that school till 10th. She has done her higher secondary in Govt. HSS in Konni. She made her acting debutante in Malayalam film industry top class director Ranjith's crime drama genre movie titled Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathirakolapathakathinte Katha. She rose ot fame for her peformance in the movie titled Salt N' Pepper which was directed by Aashiq Abu. The performance in that movie earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at 59th Filmfare Awards South.
