Oviya is Helen Nelson.She was born on April 29, 1991.She is an Indian model turned film actress. She mainly works in the Tamil film industry. She rose to fame in Tamil language comedy genre movie named Kalavani which was released in the year 2010. She completed BA in Functional English at Vimala college in Thrissur. At that time director named Sargunam approached her for his upcoming project named Kalavani. In the film named Kalavani she plays female lead role opposite to actor Vimal. The film subsequently acclaimed positive reviews and went on to become a box office hit. After that she subsequently acclaimed several assignments.
