The real name of Bhama is Rekhita. Bhama was born on 23 May 1989. Bhama is an Indian film actress and model. She was a television anchor turned actress. She has mainly works in Malayalam and Kannada language movies. She made her movie debut in malayalam movie named Nivedyam which was released in 2007. The movie Nivedyam was directed by famous top class director named A. K. Lohithadas. Bhama was born in Manarcadu near Kottayam, Kerala. She is the daughter of late Rajendra Kurup. She has two sisters both of them are older than her. Her mother is a homemaker. She hosted a program on Kairali TV titled Thaali before she entered into the film industry. She has also starred in a Christian devotional album. Director Lohithadas whom she considers her Mentor or Guru cast her in Nivedyam. Her second film was also a Malayalam movie named Hareendran Oru Nishkalankan directed by famous director Vinayan. In that movie she was cast opposite to actor Manikuttan. She paired with Vineeth Sreenivasan in her next malayalam movie named Cycle which was directed by famous director Johny Antony. Bhama Presently very busy with other language movies especially in Tamil and Kannada.Her last released Malayalam movie was 101 weddings.
