After clearing the audition test she made her movie debut in kannada movie named Saarathi which was released in 2011. The film Saarathu was one of  the biggest blockbuster film of the year. Deepa has been selected as the Promising Newcomer Female for the performance in the movies such as Saarathi and Paramathma in The Bangalore Times Film Awards 2011. Rahasya was born in Chikkamagalur district of Karnataka. She was born to the couple Shashidhar and Nanda. Her father Shashidhar is a coffee estate owner and mother Nanda is an alumna of St. Aloysius College in Mangalore, Karnataka. She participated in the audition tests conducted by the production house team of Kannada movie named Saarathi and she was chosen to play the female lead character of Saarathi movie after undergoing two rounds of tests.
