Lijo Mol Jose is a budding actress associated with Malayalam film industry best known for playing noted roles in Malayalam hits - Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan (2016) and Maheshinte Prathikaaram (2016). She was one among the artists who made debut through the highly acclaimed film, Maheshinte Prathikaaram, where she played Baby’s daughter who runs a flex-board printing shop and computer centre. In her second release, Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan she was seen as the parallel lead Kanimol, who is smitten by the lead hero, Vishnu Unnikrishnan. In her third release, Honey Bee 2.5 she played female lead opposite Askar Ali. The movie got released in August 2017. Lijomol belongs to Peermade, Idukki. Her father Rajeev runs his own business, and mother Lisamma works with the Forest Department. She is currently doing her post-graduation course in Information and Library science at Pondicherry University. She has one younger sister Liya, who is also pursuing PG. Lijomol started her profession career with television as a staff reporter of Jai Hind TV. It was during that time she attended the audition of Dileesh Pothan’s directorial debut, Maheshinte Prathikaaram. It’s mere co-incidence that she portrayed an Idukki village girl in the film, set in the backdrop of beautiful Idukki.
