In 2006 she made her Bollywood debut in the Hindi film Love Ke Chakkar Mein .She is the only daughter in this family, which consists of her father, a businessman, while her mother is a homemaker. She has a degree in English Literature. She used to teach swimming to young children and was raised in Mumbai.
